With the help of an NYC-based string ensemble, longtime friends Joshua Bennett and Samora Pinderhughes will share a recorded performance of their most recent collaborative project: a dynamic combination of poetry and jazz composed in the spirit of the Black expressive tradition they both call home. Before and after the screening of this performance, Joshua and Samora will appear for a live Q&A.

Moderated by A.D. Carson, Assistant Professor of Hip Hop and the Global South
