Elizabeth Beasley joined the University of Virginia in 2016, where she served as the lead for community-based relationships that improve overall health and well-being at UVA Health until spring 2021. In the Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Elizabeth serves as the director of community partnerships where her 15 years’ serving in the Charlottesville-area public health sector translate to bridging partnerships that meet community-identified gaps in diversity, equity and inclusion in the greater Charlottesville area. In addition, Elizabeth is a member of the President’s Council on University-Community Partnerships and serves as the co-chair for the Public Health Work Group, one of the key areas of opportunity for strengthening relationships between the University and the community.
She graduated from James Madison University with a B.S. in Health Sciences and from the University of Virginia with a Master’s in Public Health.
