Meghan Faulkner

Meghan S. Faulkner is Chief of Staff in the Division for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the University of Virginia.

Meghan staffed the President’s Commission on Slavery and the University (2013-2018) and currently serves as a member of the President’s Commission on the University in the Age of Segregation (PCUAS). She also chairs the Memorial to Enslaved Laborers Community Engagement Committee.

She joined the Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in 2010. A native of Charlottesville and a graduate of Monticello High School, she has a B.A. in English from Tufts University and an M.Ed. in Social Foundations of Education from the University of Virginia.
